Unfortunately, my car was hit by someone insured with TX Farm Bureau. It caused 5000+ dollars damage to my car and it had to be towed away. The girl admitted she ran the light and there were two witnesses that said she ran the red light. She also received a ticket. Yesterday, I received a one sentences letter saying the claim I filed with them had been denied. I called TX Farm Bureau to ask “Why” and was informed that I broke the law because I didn’t check the intersection before entering…Really? Like I have super powers to see through the other 3 cars that were also stopped at the light. Their driver broke the law by running a red light. When I told the claims agent that she ran the red light and there were witnesses, he said “Oh there were witnesses” like my claim would not have been denied if he would have known someone else saw the accident. That sounded really shady to me and on top of that he was a bigger tool than Spencer Pratt. I would never be insured with this company because they don’t and won’t pay big claims. They have probably screwed more people than Tiger Woods.
