If one could eat reputation and history, this would perhaps be a good restaurant. However, if one likes and appreciates seafood, stay far away from Jakes. At one point I considered putting salt on the menu and eating it. It would have had more flavor than any of the four dishes we had. How can one take fresh seafood and extract all of the taste? I have eaten seafood all over the world and I have never paid so much for so little. Is this a Portland joke? Is there anything less than one star?
