The owner was so rude we will not be going back! My family has been patrons of Mejlander and Mulgannon's for years. They have the best cold cuts, salads and sandwiches in Bay Ridge. We drop at least between 50 to 70 dollars a week in this store. They are pricey and the service is slow but we always felt the food was well worth it, until today. I went in to place a catering order. The young women was trying her best to help me but she couldn?t answer a question so she excused herself and went in the back to ask the owner. When she came back she gave me the answer but I needed another question answered. She told me that the owner would call me because they were too busy, there was about five people on line and a few people behind the counter, anyway, that was fine with me but then all of sudden the owner appeared from behind the high counter to the lower one where she was standing pointed in my direction and exclaimed ""She can come back the stations are a mess!"" and whisked her away. I just stood there for a minute not really knowing what just happened. So I left and I will not be returning. Ever. Well I'm sorry but I get treated with more respect at McDonalds! I was about to place a catering order for over 200 dollars. I don?t' know if you?re a jerk or a complete idiot, well I guess both. Nice way to treat your customers! Or should I say ex-customers.
