My grandmother who has Alzheimer's called Ace for the ad of 19.95 tune up, the air has been working fine. They came out didnt perform the tune up but began to tell her that she needed all kinds of new parts. This really gets to me because this is a new unit that was just installed. My brother who owns his own AC company had arrived into town and noticed that her AC had been disconnected, so she wouldnt be able to use if she needed to. We then called Ace and complained and said that they left things taken apart. The manager called back and said that the tech didnt touch anything that he was the best tech, that she needed alot of things done. First of all if you didnt touch anything how do you determine what needs to be fixed. I am very upset that they did this and the manager basically said that my brother that has been in the AC business for 16 years was lying. I am floored that they would even take advantage of the elderly. My grandmother obviously should have called me if she had questions but granted she isnt in her best state of mind. I cant even believe that a person yet a company would allow this kind of behavior. How do you sleep at night! more
