Our family has eaten at Garcia's for more than 35 years. It is the best mexican food ANYWHERE. I've tried Carna Guisada at many restaurants in many states and no where even comes close to Garicia's. I have not lived in San Antonio for a long time but I make several annual trips there just to visit Garcia's I typically take home 10 - 20 quarts of the carna guisada to hold me over until the next trip. I'll be there again this Friday. Treat yourself and try the carna guisada and their enchiladas..if taste has a place in heaven-it's called Garcia's.
