Went there last night with my husband, it was our first date night in a loooooong time, (we have 2 kids and 1 is an infant) so we were excited. The food was great, but the service was horrible. As soon as she found out I used to work there, (like 9 years ago, and only for a few months!) her attitude changed. She became snotty and rude. I asked her about the Ceviche, just ASKED, and she ordered it for us. When it came to the table by someone else, I told her we didn't order it, our waitress came over then and said "" you ordered the ceviche, right?"" I told her no, I asked about it. She walked away shaking her head. She talked in the beginning about how she got in shape for about 5 minutes. When I proceeded to tell her I am dieting and working out also, she walked away and wasn't interested. We had been sitting about 10 minutes at that time and were ready to order. The rest of the meal, she pretty much ignored us and had attitude. (she's been there forever, looks to be late 30's, early 40's, tall, thin, dark hair). All in all, very disappointed. I feel the waitress pretty much ruined our date night. Sorry you still work there and I don't honey, but don't take it out on a PAYING customer! I understand Elbow Room has been around forever, and their food is good, but there are plenty of restaurants w/ great food AND nice service in Fresno, Elbow Room needs to work on their service if they want to keep customers coming, because I know I won't be back.\r
