Dissappointing Service 11/7/2011

My daughter signed up LAST SUMMER to be notified when Meeker received a 3/4 size bass to replace the 1/2 size bass that her daughter (my grand daughter) has outgrown. She calls every month to see if they have one and has always been told 'no'. They finally told her today they had one. My grand daughter was ecstatic to learn she was finally getting a 3/4 size. When my daughter got to the store she found that what they had was a 3/4 size cello. REALLY? They don't know the difference between a bass and a cello?! AND why does it take them monthes to get a new instrument in? The clerk told my daughter that they had had one in last week but already gave it out. ""Why didn't you call me?"" my daughter asks. So, the clerk pulls out a stack of sticky notes and starts looking for my daughters name and information. REALLY? Sticky notes? is that how they keep records? So, so, soooo dissappointed in Meekers. Grainers here we come! more
