I made an impromptu appointment at the Jay Michael Salon and Spa in Center City Philadelphia at 16th and Arch Sts recently and was delighted that I did! I highly recommend going to see Jess. Her background is actually in medicinal massage so she was able to target the areas of my body that were taking a toll due to my son (24 pounds of up and down up and down up and down)....My back, shoulders and calves were in trouble and she knew just how to fix everything! Her touch was great - not too hard! My aches and pains were GONE! Whooooosh! I really liked her demeanor too. She was very laid back, chill and appropriately conversational (I was in a chatty mood). She made me laugh a few times. I can't wait til my next treatment! Thanks Jess - YOU ROCK!!!!! By the way, if Jess is booked, Augustine is pretty awesome too!!!! I was so impressed, I'm getting holiday gift cards for all my other achey mom pals this season!
