about 11 months ago my husband and i went to Hilton's to purchase a love seat that matched the leather couch we had. The staff was very friendly and helpful and found what we thought was an exact match to our couch so we ordered the loveseat. After looking more closely at the picture in the catalog the sales rep realized that the cushions were in fact different and contacted us. We went back up to the store and the rep showed us what he had discovered so we decided to cancel out order. This was done within 2 hours of the purchase but i was told there was a cancellation fee of 80.00. This was very upsetting to me as i don't have 80.00 to just give away, but was told that this was standard policy even if the order was cancelled before it was ever even pulled. Needless to say the staff was not forthcoming in giving me a way to contact Mr. Hilton at all as if they knew the transaction of charging me the 80.00 was not something they wanted Mr. Hilton to know about. After calling main office I was told I could not talk to Mr. Hilton but would need to send a letter so I did but never even got a reply so I have not been back since until 1/27/11. We purchased a new mattress and were very pleased with the service quality and price. Still not happy with first experience but this time we felt good about our purchase.
