Met a friend who I hadn't seen for a while for breakfast last Sunday. After finishing our meal and halfway through my second cup of coffee, an older gentleman came over (may have been the owner?), interrupted our conversation and asked us to leave. He said ""You've been here a while and I need your table"". I asked if I could finish my coffee. He repeated his request that we leave. I told him I won't be back and he smiled and said ""OK"". I would have given 3 stars for the skimpy, overpriced breakfast (one thin slice of lox and a tiny wedge of watermelon = $8.95 gravlox platter with side of fruit?) But such rudeness is unforgivable. I try to give my business to independently run coffee shops, but not this one. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away.
