We happened across Vigilucci's Cucina Italiana while shopping downtown in Carlsbad Village. We stopped in for an early dinner, and were just amazed at the service and the food.
The Vigilucci's staff was exceptionally attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Table linens, glassware and candles added to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant.
They have a nice wine selection as well as a full bar.
I had one of the specials that evening, which was the venison ravioli with a brandy cream sauce and mushrooms. Such a great combination ? the mushrooms were tender, tasty and the sauce complimented the entire dish. So divine! So divine in fact, we went back a day later to indulge ourselves again! We also had the Caesar salad that was fresh and perfectly presented. For desert we had the Cr?me brulee, and again perfection! Smooth, creamy texture with the crunchy browned top!
We are foodies at heart and truly enjoy fine dining. We will be reminiscing about Vigilucci?s Cucina Italiana for some time to come! Food Heaven!
