I would like to think I know tacos. Its one of my favorite foods. I lived in the SW for several years and traveled throughout Mexico and Central America. Since moving to Miami have had to really work at finding good Mexican. It's kinda scares. But I have enjoyed tacos at many decent places: Line, Salsa Fiesta, a really authentic place on SW 8th and, of course, El Torito in Homestead. I've been there three times and found this place to have amazing tacos...... but that's all I've ever ordered off the menu. These are tacos with a gourmet twist. The tacos are smaller than what one might be used to but thats the traditional way corn tortillas are made in Mexico and throughout Central America. It's a very basic taco but the "filling" is excellently cooked and the different salsas aren't so bad.
