My boyfriend and I moved in together a few weeks ago and the movers (Babin, Tupten, Dejan, and Bojan), had to make 3 stops, one at my boyfriend’s apt, one at storage and one at my apt. We had a fair amount of boxes and furniture and we thought that with the number of stops and the number of items for pick-up, the move would take the whole day. However, the move, which began at 8:20am and lasted until the early afternoon, was a lot shorter than expected. Not only were the gentlemen swift, they were also extremely considerate. They made sure that our furniture was laid out and placed according to our preference and they placed the boxes in their designated rooms. All fragile items were carefully wrapped and taped; we have some glass furniture and an antique dresser and nothing was damaged. In contrast to earlier reviews, the men spoke English well are highly educated, one guy being a technical student, another a graphic designer and the other an engineer. Danny, the person who arranged the move from the office, who spoke perfect English, better English than most people in the U.S., was very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable.
Bojan, the mover that handled the inventory, communicated with me about the inventory from the moment I met him to the very last minute, was direct, professional, and clear about my move and the amount of money that he needed to deduct because we did not fulfill the inventory given to Danny. As opposed to another review, the tip is not mandatory according to the contract. Before the move, I called the company to ask if the tip is mandatory and the receptionist and Danny said that it isn’t. The company suggests a 20% tip if satisfied with the move. We were more than satisfied with the Bojan, Dejan, Babin, and Tupten and we feel like they were extremely responsible, professional, careful, and personable. Thank you!!!
