Ordered Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. \r

Kung Pao is listed on the menu as "spicy". However, the dish had absolutely no spice or flavor for that matter. The chicken was flaky (to the point it was falling apart) but had no chicken flavor. Based on this it was precooked and kept in a steamer until it was put in a order. The "sauce" was a watery and bland concoction that was pale and generally pointless, the only notable flavor was of peanuts that were placed on top of the dish and were not part of the sauce.\r

Sesame Chicken was likewise very pale, watery, and had very little flavor (but a step up from the Kung Pao) the chicken in Sesame Chicken is fried, which this was, but it also seemed to have no chicken flavor at all. Did they leave this is a steamer too? \r

Portions were substantial and the Kung Pao had a nice mix of steamed vegetables. Too bad I couldn't force it down. \r

I've had OK Chinese in south Florida, I've had very good Chinese in south Florida. I wanted something closer to home which is why I tried Lotus. I won't go back.... Fool me one shame on you... Fool me twice, shame on me.
