I've often found that people depend far too much on a small number of employment agencies in order to find work. What's often forgotten is that finding work takes work. In order to find the one you'll be happy with, you have to fan yourself out; you have to network yourself to anywhere between 20 to 40 agencies per week, and maintain contact with them. I don't feel it's terribly fair to harp on one because they failed to find work in a lapsed economy. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
