This is the worst diner that I have ever been to and that is saying a lot because I have been to some pretty bad diners before. Now, my husband is not a breakfast person, which is why we wanted to go to a diner (since most often, diners will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day). Well, for one thing, this diner did not offer that convenience. All they could make for my husband was a handful of lunch items, such as cold sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc. (we weren't even allowed to view anything other than the breakfast menu, so we had to go on what the waitress told us was available), and we felt very rushed. Strike one.
I ordered eggs and bacon. Toast was ok, but bacon was burnt to a crisp and unedible. Strike two.
My husband received a raw burger, so he politely asked the waitress to the bring it back. When she did, we overhead the cook complaining and throwing his hands up in the air, and her responding with ""I know, I know...: As if he should have to eat a burger that is cold in the middle! Then she brought back a new burger, and my husband said he wasn't sure if it was real beef because the consistency was like a paste. Needless to say, he did not eat the burger. Strike three.
Finally, I have NEVER been to a restaurant that didn't have Heinz ketchup on the tables. Well, sure enough, I can no longer say this is the case. They had a generic bottle of ketchup on the table - talk about cheap!
Seriously, this place was horrible - both the food and the service. Avoid it at all costs. If I could have, I would have given it 0 stars.
