Wow...I have been reading the complaints of some of the past tenants (and maybe current ones). Are we living in the same apt. complex? I have lived at Bar Harbor since 2006! I got involved in Mortgage mess and the staff that moved me in was great.
We have had some snooty office "girls" in the past but the current Staff seems awesome. They are mature and very helpful....just have to ask for what you want.
Pets...? Yes, there seems to be issues with OWNERS not picking up after their pets. This is not BH's fault as they are very pet friendly and Really really PUSH for people to clean up after their pets and Always have them on a leash. Where else do you see apts that have doggie trash bags / cans for the owners? This shows they do respect and want dog owners.
Electric bills...? Uh..again that is not BH's fault...they ARE not the electric company. I don't like the water, gas, and trash expenses tacked on, but that is the Least of my complaints.
Don't be fooled by these complaints. It is a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. I lived in So Houston for a long awful 6 years. At least here I can speak to the Staff and my neighbors in English and am not subjected to family reunion bbq's all night long on every freaking weekend. It's a nice place to LIVE. :)
Pros: Dog lovers, quiet safe neighborhood
Cons: water, trash, and gas tack ons
