An earlier reviewer mentioned a ""comically grumpy"" staff. Unfortunately this is a gross understatement. I've never been in an establishment in NYC where the owners seemed to be so hostile towards patrons. If you're waiting in the lunch line for a half hour, be prepared to be berated if you don't know exactly what you want, or if you want something that isn't explicitly on the menu (or don't know the correct way of ordering it, for that matter). Staff and owners treat you like a nuisance and as though they're doing you a favor by taking your business. I saw one guy get fed up and leave while his order was being taken and the owner actually yell ""GOOD!"" at him on his way out. Never seen anything like it. Sandwiches are not worth the sub-par treatment of customers. This place is really arrogant.
