Ventured into the establishment recently to check it out...dressed down as I often do for a reason. I figure if you don't ""look the part"" and still get treated well...you are dealing with some good folks. The staff member, I believe her name was Gretchen, was borderline snobbish and obviously pre-judged this customer. Lets just say she didn't ask the right questions to a first time customer and seemed to make assumptions of me. I will say the place (outside this particular staff member) was very nice with overstuffed chairs, it had a comfortable warm feel...good spot to enjoy a beverage. I did go ahead and have a glass of wine and enjoy my visit. It's too bad ""Gretch"" didn't start out on the right foot with me...I wanted to drop a few ""C-notes"" on some fine wines not available at most liquor stores (even Spec's).
