I have seen many doctors (western and eastern) and Dr. Chow has been the best yet. Some western doctors treat your body like it's a bunch of parts that have nothing to do with each other, while some eastern doctors treat your body as a whole but only seem to know how to treat allergies and smoking cessation and doesn't really know how to handle more serious conditions. Some eastern doctors are also really out there in their treatments that don't seem to work (or well haven't worked for me.)
I like Dr. Chow because she acknowledges the benefits of western medicine (diagnostic tests) but then uses that information and treats you naturally. She takes as much time as needed to listen to you, takes detailed notes, is easy to reach by email with any question you may have, and really looks at the whole picture and what is going on.
Also unlike in comparison to other naturopathic doctors, she is affordable and goes the extra mile to get you back your health.
She's nice, has a great understanding of chinese herbs, acupuncture (and more) and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a solid naturopathic doctor.
Pros: combines the best of western and eastern medicine
Cons: doesn't take insurance (but is reasonable in cost)
