I am a 54 year old petroleum profesional and home brewer. On the occasion of the USA vs Ghana World Cup Match I spent $120 on food and drink and all I expected was to be able to take my two Chimay Red bottles home with me to re-fill and cork. No way, according to the dumb assistant manager and brown toothed bouncer. I have owned a bar and contrary to what the two limp dicks say, it is not a state law that you cannot leave with an empty bottle. The Gingerman and just about any other beer bar worth mentioning in town will let you but not this place. Since a belgian bottle it worth about $2 per bottle to home brewers and 16oz bottles are worth at least $.50 I would say you would be better taking you business elsewhere. I have patronized this place since 1986 and hunted with a part owner of the place and spent countless thousands of dollars there over the last 24 years, but needless to say, I will not be going back. Ther are too many better beer bars in town to put up with there sh*t and the breath of the bouncer.
