We just moved to the area a few months ago and visited Sal's on Fresno St. with our children. We used a discount certificate from RestaurantdotCom both times. The food was good. On Mother's Day 2010, we decided to have our whole family from L.A. join us at Sal's using a $50 certificate towards the meal. Our group was 11 people and would have gone way over that no problem. The owner would not honor ""the already purchased cert"", and embarrased my wife and I in front of our family. We left immediately and don't plan to return. Buyer beware!!!
Pros: We liked the food the first two visits.
Cons: Poor customer service on Mother's Day!!!
