If your mom is like mine, she will love to go to the game as a Mother's Day present. She's always cheering for the Astros and getting all decked out even while watching the TV screen. Why not treat her with tickets to the ball park? With a quick stop at one of the restaurants around and maybe a beer in the park, it is just an amazing combination of sports and relaxing. Also, it is much better in person, when you feel the spirit and energy come over you. It is still early in the season and the Astros can only get better and better.
