The Afterwords Cafe at Kramer Books is a great place to go when all of Dupont is packed during happy hour and you just don't feel like dealing with crowds.
While the tables are a bit close together, there are some spots inside the cafe that offer some room. There is also an outside patio that is conducive to people watching or just chilling with a book.
They have some good selections of beers on tap and prices are reasonable.
Pros: Surprisingly deep beer selection
Cons: Appetizers a bit weak
