Best sports value in town 2/22/2010

For my sports buck there's not a better ticket in town than the ol' Bravos. They give you at least 81 chances (hopefully more in October) to take in a game at the Ted. Ticket promotions are abundant and sellouts are rare these days. Depending on where you want to sit, you can pay as little as $1 to $70+ for a seat. The AYCE seats that include beer are a lot of fun if you are willing to drop some extra cash for a night out at the ballpark. A little known fact: You may bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages in a soft cooler. My recommendation. For optimal game-viewing the best seats in the house in my opinion are in the upper box section right above home plate. If you're going to move along the base lines, I'd go 3rd instead of 1st (the even sections). That way you get the nice view of the downtown skyline and the sun sets behind you instead of right in your eyes. Pros: cheap seats, America's favorite pastime Cons: parking, traffic more
