We have made Havana a regular stop for our trips between Miami and Jacksonville. Havana has great Cuban food in their dining room, but we have gotten into the habit of ordering sandwiches, mariquitas & cafe con leche from their walk-up window on Dixie Highway. Their Cuban sandwich is the best I've ever had -- just remember to tell them to include the mustard and pickles.\r

For travelers on I-95, it's an easy detour from the mind-numbing blacktop. Take Exit 66, Forest Hill Road, eastbound for about 1/2 mile. Havana (the restaurant, that is) is on the corner of Forest Hill Road and Dixie Highway.
