Told I needed new heat/ac unit. Wanted electric only, as gas is getting expensive. Said it was not possible. Now I find out it was. Just needed a 220 line which was already there! Said the bigger unit would keep me warmer than old unit, (which was only 4 years old) Well, it didn't and my bills skyrocketed. Workers supposedly installed a new thermostat. Showed me the new one still in the box. It was the exact same model/style I had installed a couple years earlier, but I won't turn down something new, especially if I already paid for it. Worker told me "All installed, just change the battery in a year". 3 months later I went to dust the thermostat. They lied to me. It was the same thermostat I already had. Still had paint on it from when I painted the room 1 year earlier. My duct work needed to be replaced, it is so old and rusty and full of holes. They said the ductwork is fine, and hooked up my new ac/heat unit to rotting ductwork. I'm on social security disability. $4500.00 for a bunch of holes in the outside walls of my house, which were left when they took the old unit out, higher bills even though I set it at the same temp. as the old one, and I'm still freezing. Sorry Mr. Arnett, it is the truth.
