I read about Townhouse Spa in NYmag and decided to give a massage a try.. I've been an avid massage recipient for years, but recently moved to the area and wanted to see what all the hype was about.. I got there 20 minutes early and since I had time to kill, was offered a hydrasoak to get me started before the massage.. I have to say this was an amazing decision because it really 'warmed' my body up to the massage and I was able to really feel the full effects of the massage...by the way, the masseuse was amazing! he was super attentive to all my problem areas and really listened to what I was looking to get out of it. Also, the facilities here are amazing..I was so tempted to sit in the steam afterwards, but had to run to dinner..next time I'm definitely going to reserve the whole day just for Townhouse!
