My family's experience when we eat in the restaurant has always been positive. The servers are attentive and the food is great. The problem is that due to our hectic schedules we eat at the restaurant maybe 10% of the time. We use Carrabba's take out service 90% of the time. Unfortunately, their take out service is horrible and, for some reason, I haven't learned my lesson after Carrabba's has screwed up on several different occasions. Maybe I subconsciously enjoy the suffering? Their take out service is well-known for completely forgetting parts of the order. I'm not talking about something simple like an extra side of cheese or the bread. Whole meals have been forgotten (they forgot my Chicken Bryan one time). Management has always been accommodating when I've called them after I've arrived home and realized parts of my meal were missing. But there's only so many times their take out people can forget to include desserts, meals, side dishes or the marsala sauce on the Sirloin Marsala (true story!) before you give up on the restaurant all together. I finally started checking my order while I was at the restaurant to make sure it's all there (they get it right maybe 50% of the time). I sent my husband to pick up the food today. Big mistake. He didn't check and we discovered after we got home that a salad wasn't put in our bag. To top it off, the mussels in my Linguine Pescatore were far from fresh. In fact, they were completely inedible. I'm coming back but that's only because the manager promised me a free meal the next time I come in. Hopefully the take out people don't forget to put it in the bag..... Pros: in-restaurant dining is good Cons: take out is terrible more
