Allstate is a rip-off. I bought insurance from some Allstate agent named Ramiro. The Agent was a motor mouth that seemed to know about everything but insurance policies. He oversold me on coverage for my car insurance policy, and as a result; I ended up paying throught the nose. When I decided to get someoned else for my homeowner's insurance policy, he sounded upset when he failed to convice me to stay. As a result I ended up going to Geico and so far so good. It has been several months. One of the thing that I did not like about Allstate is that they only give you one choice of rental car companies, but Geico does the same thing.
