For my son's first birthday I decided to try something new. I had heard from other people how good their pastries were and decided to stop by to buy a cake. The decoration itself was very attractive and the price as well ($9.99, serves 10) but once we got it home and ate it, I regretted buying it, serving it to my guests and paying for it. The cake itself was horribly dry, my father in law called it "sawdust", the frosting was marshmallow fluff, which they failed to tell me and honestly, I didn't ask assuming most bakeries frost with buttercream. At the same time, I bought some pastries as fingerfoods for the small party, those were delicious. The meat, ham and cheese pastries tasted fresh and crisp. I will probably buy those again, but never one of their cakes.
