I started dancing with them when they first opened i was 6. It was fun and i enjoyed it, it was all about having fun not about winning. I continued to dance with them till i was 14 then moved on to the cincinnati ballet and ccm at uc. The only reason why Melissa the owner sold the studio was because she hired her childhood best friend Meredith Werdern to help her teach students. And Meredith Werden is the one who ruined the acadamey of fun. I would walk out of there crying because of her. I competed with them for 5 years and because of her i wasn't allowed, even though my solo was getting gold. MEREDITH is the one who ruined the place not Melissa. Melissa is now the coach of the MND Dance team and a teacher at Starz dance acadamey, so if you want a good teacher go to starz. And all the funding problems was from MEREDITH.
