I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I've been back practically everyday since. When it comes to southern cookin' these folks sure got it right. Every time I eat there all kinds of nostalgic memories start poppin' up and at times I'm just sure that if I poked my head in the kitchen I'd see my little granny, with her silver white hair pulled back into a neat braid, hovering over the iron skillet to make sure the catfish was cooked just right.
This is one of the few places left now a days that when you walk in you can tell that they actually care that you're there and are happy to see you. You might even get to hear a good knee slapper of a story from the owner.
