My friend recommended yuca because of their cheap happy hour deals and great tapas. the food was FINE, the waitress didn't come to take our drink order for 20 minutes. Eventually I stood up and asked a bus boy to get her. Happy hour was only for another hour and we wanted to order drinks before they doubled in price.
I ordered a side of sweet plaintains to take home and they were brought to the table after we signed the check. Inadvertently, I stood up and began to walk away from the table, got to the door, realized I left my plantains on the table, turned around and they were gone. When I asked where they went the busboy shuffled through the garbage and offered me my order covered in trash. I turned to the hostess and said, this is sort of f-ed up at which point a manager came out and screamed at me for acting inappropriately and said, "the hostess offered to replace your order" i replied...."no she didn't" and he said, "oh well, you;re a loser for cursing."
A. it's the village....who doesn't curse
B. it's a SH-T economy (pardon my french yuca) dont throw your patrons food out and offer them scraps from the trash.
will never return.
Pros: cheap drinks, cheap food
Cons: horrible service, mean staff, offered me food from the trash
