Thank goodness I got a 2nd opinion! I was about to put my child through unnecessary surgery -- try another ENT. They even gave her CT scan for no good reason since her adenoids were clearly visible. Worst of all, they didn't ask me if it was okay. He just said she was getting x-rays and they are not the same thing. One involves high doses of radiation which isn't something you put a child through. He was also signing us up for sinus surgery without really telling us what would be involved. I had a friend fill me in and she HIGHLY recommended the second opinion based on her experience and the experience of some other friends.\r
