These thieves falsely place charges on your local phone bill which are difficult to get removed. If you call them they pretend to remove the charges only to put them back on your line. They are gutless wonders and your local phone company is not much better because they claim they can't stop these people from placing false charges on your phone bill.
Examine your phone bill carefully! They charge amounts that look similar to what your local phone companies charge for extra services and describe them as ""enhanced services"" or the like to trick you into thinking it is something you've ordered from your local phone company.
File complaints with the FCC and your state Attorney General!
