I went in to see a stylist for a simple wash/style (I won't name names because I think stylist is good with other people but I was SOOOO disappointed). Stylist was running late and I waited patiently. Stylist started to wash my hair, and then admitted he didn't know what to do with it. I am black and I have a TON of hair, but I thought a simple wash/style should be no problem for Stylist with such a great reputation. I almost started to cry, but stylist proceeded. \r

Stylist constantly asked me questions about HOW to do my own hair. When stylist was finally finished my hair looked great, but it felt like straw. Even though I told stylist to put a lot of product in my hair, stylist didn't listen. \r

To put the icing on the cake, the receptionist charged me $20 more than quoted because 'it took so much longer.' I was insulted and disappointed and will never return to the salon again.
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Stylist not knowledgeable, my hair was dry as straw
