I got to Rippys at 8pm on a Thursday night, a few patrons in the place maybe 20% capacity. I stood at the doorway for about 3 maybe 4 mins and not sure who worked there but no one said a word to me so I figured it was seat yourself. After seating myself I waited another 10 mins as I figured out why the service was so bad, 2 servers (one may have been the ""hostess"") where smoking cigarettes outside and 3 more appeared to be taking breaks inbetween serving others. All of this was occuring about 15 feet from my table. About 10 mins later a girl walked by and asked if was going to order something, (no hello, no menu and no manners) I said please. I guess when you're a popular spot there is no need to offer service. I got my food, it was ok but maybe now I'm biased. Go to Jack's across the street, the food is very good and the service is humble but present.
