I had a repair technician come out to replace a motor on a dishwasher that was sent to him from the manufacturer. He also replaced another part on the dishwasher that he said was the cause for the motor to burn out. In order to do this, he had to remove a copper water line. As he was putting the line back together, I had told him that I had to put a sealant on the fitting when originally installed to prevent water from leaking. He told me and my wife that it wasn't necessary because he had fixed it properly. He put all the guards back in place, turned on the dishwasher to make sure the motor was running, and then said it was all fixed and handed me the bill which I promptly paid. About 36 hours after the dishwasher repair, my wife noticed that the laminate boards in front of the dishwasher had started to buckle up and she could see water pushing up between the boards when stepped on. I removed the bottom guard and found that the fitting(that he said was fixed)was leaking. I tried to have the company send someone out after telling them about the issue. They gave me the runaround all day and then finally told me someone was on their way. He never showed up. I had to pull up the laminate boards myself so that the subfloor could be dried out before being ruined as well(I contacted a flooring company for their advice). He spoke with my wife the next day on the phone and had the nerve of saying that the floor was like that and he had nothing to do with it. The issue would have never happened if he had done his job correctly. The company needs to have my flooring fixed because of the poor workmanship. There is a 30 day warranty on it and they need to take responsibility for their actions. In addition, he was making a deal with 2 delivery guys outside on buying a dryer and TV from them while he charging us for his time for doing our repairs. Never use these losers!!
