Now I know why they were pushing their floor models when I ordered $17000 worth of furniture in June. They never intended on shipping! I have had nothing but problems with my furniture order. First the saleswoman, who no longer works there, was completely incompetent--I knew more about the Artistica options than she did. Then the table I ordered was discontinued so I settled on a different model. I was told 8-12 weeks for delivery and it has been 23 weeks. I'm getting very little, to no, communication from their manager Dean and assistant Becky. I've been calling at least once per week since September and am getting the run around. Once when I called for status the receptionist said ""I don't have time to check on that right now let me call you back"", and never did. The next word was that the entire order was ready except one bed frame, so 14 out of 15 pieces were ready and they were holding the whole order. I kindly asked if they could get them to release the pieces that were ready and finally last week Dean said that they had confirmation that our order was shipping from the manufacturer, Artistica, and should be here by today. The word from them today (after my calling every hour) is that they are ""playing phone tag"" with the manufacturer and do not have any tracking information to see where the shipment is (or if it really left at all). The last time I got a return call from their staff was 3 weeks ago, if it were not for my contact I doubt they would be doing anything at all to assist with this order. I do not expect this kind of service and lack of communication when paying this kind of money and especially from a reputable company such as theirs. I would not be so upset if I wasn't counting on this furniture for seating for our Thanksgiving guests and had not been promised by Dean that he would personally follow up and see that I get the shipment before then. Now I will be forced to buy other seating tomorrow, after I've already spent $12,000 deposit on furniture that may never show up. As a business owner myself I understand how frustrating depending on outside vendors can be. But there's no excuse for their lack of service. If I do not hear from anyone there tomorrow, I will have no other choice than to have my legal counsel file suit against them.
