Last night I called in an order to go. I ordered the Triple Prime Cheddar Hamburger. I picked the order up at the bar to find out that Ruby Tuesday's decided for my convenience they would automatically charge me a 10% gratuity for a to go order. When did restaurants decide to make me tip on a to go order? It's too bad for them because I never leave less than a $5 tip and this 10% that they decided to force on me was only about $2.50.
However, the worst part is that I got home ready to enjoy a great hamburger and It was a burned rock hard piece of something with no cheese. I called the manager who said they'd be happy to make it right and give me a gift card... like I want to go back there.
I took the food back and asked for a refund when he decided to tell me that they couldn't give me my money back. They could only give me a gift card. I refused the card and left the piece of charcoal they called a hamburger with them.
I will NEVER return to their restaurant which is too bad because my fiance and I eat out every night.
After that I'm telling everyone I know to not eat at Ruby Tuesdays. Absolutely pathetic!
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!
Cons: Terrible Dinner
