After being a customer of Charlies for several years and referring several friends as customers, Charlie ruined 2 sport coats and messed up tailoring a pair of Prada suit pants to my $2500 suit. After going back three times, Charlie insisted nothing was wrong. The second time I went back he had pressed the suits to hide the tailoring mistakes. So, I paid him $500 for the alterations and took my sport coats and suit pants to another tailor. Without telling the tailor what I thought was wrong with the sport coats or pants, the tailor immediately noticed what was wrong and explained to me lack of skill of Charlie's shop. I write this review so that others can be aware not to take any tailoring jobs to Charlie - I believe you can still rely on him to take care of simple mending or shortening a pair of pants. However, be advised if you take any of your expensive clothes to be tailored that require sophisticated tailoring skills. I don't know what happened to his skill; he use to be a much better tailor.
