I would not recommend this for anyone until the owners clear out a very definite safety hazard. There is a fallen tree that blocks a very narrow area of the river, and it is very likely that you will tip over in your kayak or canoe, and possibly get trapped under the tree. It happened to us, and the owners were not helpful at all, and even admitted that it is a problem that they haven't been able to correct, but hoped to next year. I felt it was my responsiblity to write a review and warn people, especially with families with young children, or school/club events, that it isn't safe.
