Not sure how the Russian Banya got labeled as a coffeehouse on Citysearch. It has some good coffee but I would label it a couple of different things before calling it a coffee house. I would definitely call it a restaurant and a Spa first.\r

It is a huge place, it has a full restaurant area that is big enough for and often used for banquets and then it has a whole spa / sauna side that has 4 or 5 different kinds of saunas. They have a good website that describes each of them way better than I could. It is $25 to hang out there at the spa section as long as you want, and a really fun way to spend a lazy afternoon or evening. I think most people and families go there for the spa / sauna side of things but I think the food is the real treasure. The Russian Borsch soup and the Lamb kebabs are both favorites. They do have different coffees and teas, they also have Kvas and Borjomi which are both interesting drinks.\r

The Russian Banya of Dallas is really a hidden treasure for north Dallas and adds some much needed character to the cookie cutter suburbs. If you are from Russia or just want t a taste of the motherland, this is a good place to go.
Pros: Great food and good value
