I contacted this vet to make an appointment for my dog. We both recently relocated to San Diego (in January) to take care of my Dad who passed away from cancer 2 months ago. I haven't been working the whole time and have been living off my savings which is running extremely low. \r

I called these people and explained our whole story. I told them I could pay for the office visit, but I asked if they would call in or write a prescription to Target or WalMart pharmacy, so that I could afford to take care of my dog and the skin problems he was having.\r

They told me "no, we don't do that". Also, back in January. Our old vet from Anaheim said he would be willing to call in a prescription to VCA Angel to be filled (Revolution) for flea and tick care. I was told by VCA Angel that the vet there does not accept phone-ins from other vets.\r

I think the true problem is that if they can't run up the dollars on vet visits, it is not worth there time. It's not about caring for animals, he
