The Novel has several locations in and around the Santa Monica area, and they all serve up the same great selection of tea and coffee, and pretty good breakfast food as well--The lox platter is my fav. As far as ambiance goes, though, the new expansions lack the cozy, book-ish feel that makes the original novel off of Main make you feel like you've found something special, that the rest of the world knows nothing about.
