I got my 3rd tattoo from Mike on Tuesday - he did my first two. When I made my appointment I didn't provide very good examples & am not always the best at explaining what I want. I spoke with the receptionist who communicated my ideas to Mike.
When I arrived on Tuesday a design was drawn that wasn't my style. I asked to speak with Mike and the receptionist appeared offended that I didn't trust what he communicated to Mike. He advised me that he told Mike what I told him. I'm sure that's true, but it's not even about him! And what I wanted is going to be on my body forever.
Mike finally spoke with me face to face and I explained to him that when I made the appointment I just got off work and did not have the best examples with me. I explained further what I wanted and showed better examples. I am also open to their advice because they are excellent artists and definitely know what they are talking about.
Mike redrew the design which I liked much better. I got it on my right inner arm above wrist. And if I decide on a 4th, which I likely will, I will only go to South Side.
