I have been a fan of Van Michaels for awhile but my colorist left so I haven't been to a Van Michael in about 1.5 years. Since i moved to VH, I naturally choose VM to do a cut and color. Great colorist, great brow wax but then it was time for a cut. No was the theme for the day. I brought a picture that was insulted, I was told, ""well I am not sure what we do about this"" to my cowlick, I didn't want the straight flat iorn look and when I asked about ""sprucing it up"" after I got the flat iorn look, I was told ""well you don't want to do that as you could then damage my hair"" instead of just spritzing my hair and adjusting, and finally I was SHOCKED when we were done as I looked atrocious and the response was ""go home and play with it"". You are kidding right? I thought that a stylist was supposed to style.
