my motor club called Jims Towing to tow me and after they loaded my vehicle they informed me of an extra charge because my vehicle was ""modified"". i had low profile tires but the overall tire size was same as oem. they said the charge was required by my motor club but after calling them i discovered that the charge is collected soley at the discretion of the tow company for having to use special equipment for my ""modified vehicle"". no special equipment was necessary. the driver agreed with me and plead my case to his manager but to no avail. i called another company and we DROVE my vehicle onto the truck. it doesn't get any easier than that. Jims Towing is a black eye on an industry trying to change it's image. truley pathetic.
