We have been using Red Cap cleaners for a while now, mostly because of the convenient location. We have been having a lot of problems with them cleaning my husband's shirts, though. Amost every time he picks shirts up, at least one is missing a button. When they replace the buttons, they don't use the spare buttons included with the shirts; they use a basic white button (whether it matches or not). Needless to say, that means I have to re-replace the button with a spare included on the shirt. \r \r However, today was the last straw. We brought our bed comforter to them for dry cleaning, per the directions on the comforter. The comforter was returned to us damaged. The color was almost completely bleached out of it- the brown flowers now appear to be pink!! We paid over $100 for this comforter, and when we asked to be reimbursed for its cost, Red Cap refused. They said that if they paid us for the comforter, they would be admitting liability. The strange thing is that they gave us $20 because we were unhappy (isn't that like admitting liability?) I would strongly encourage anyone to avoid Red Cap because of their carelessness and their refusal to take responisbility for their work.
